Mission
Our mission is to cultivate a dynamic and nurturing environment where individuals from all walks of life can come together to explore the rich rhythms and traditions of samba. Through practice, performance, and collaboration, we strive to empower our members to connect, express themselves creatively, and build lasting relationships. By prioritising trust, inclusivity, and the power of community, we are committed to making a positive difference in the mental and emotional well-being of everyone involved.
Longridge School of Samba is for all adults in the Ribble Valley and beyond, to meet and share the joy of playing Samba.
We especially welcome anyone who is new to Samba or even playing an instrument - it is very enjoyable and rewarding.
We were all beginners when we joined!
Whether you decide to perform or not, it is entirely your decision.

We aim to enrich the lives of our members by offering a welcoming space where trust, artistic expression, and shared experiences positively impact both mental well-being and personal growth.
Our love of playing Samba is only matched by the friendship and support we get from the group.
